Brighton PRIDE 2016 – Part 1

Armed with more wristbands than I could possible count and a fully loaded camera and capture cards, I set off for Preston Park.

A very hot sunny Saturday in August and I made my way to the site. I was a little early, and had to walk along miles of contained walkways and security tents. And finally I was in.

Here are a few shots from around the site, the people, the crowds who made the day.

Imani – Brighton Pride 2016

First on the main stage was the stunning Imani A new young star gave the main stage at Pride a real uplift. A firecracker of a performer and just breathtaking to watch. Great job Imani!

Seann Miley Moore at Brighton Pride 2016

There was a quick change over and Seann Miley Moore was next, the performer from the X Factor was just sensational! What a performer – sings, dances and delivers a vocal power that has to be heard to be believed. Stunning, what else would you expect from Seann Miley Moore?

Anne-Marie – Brighton Pride 2016

Next up was a favourite of mine. I had the chance to photo Anne-Marie earlier in the year. Here she was at Pride and this lady just oozes class, talent and the crowd egging her on with “Chug Chug” as a bottle of WKD appeared on stage. A breathtaking performance of material old and new.
