Just Floyd: The Factory Live, 7 February 2026
“The UKs Most Authentic Live Pink Floyd Tribute Band. Acclaimed for their refreshing energy, this extraordinary band brings you closer to the original spirit of Pink Floyd than ever before.”

Just Floyd: Time to Shine On in Worthing at The Factory Live. The UKs Most Authentic Live Pink Floyd Tribute Band playing those iconic tunes.
Pink Floyd were formed back in 1965 and we have since lost the genius of Syd Barrett and Rick Wright. Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour simply don’t get on and we’ll not see them perform again. The great thing about their music in my view is that it is timeless and as relevant today as it has always been.

Dark Side of The Moon is the third best-selling album of all time, and with albums such as The Wall, Animals and Wish You Were Here the mighty Floyd have given humanity an everlasting gift. Just Floyd were here tonight to share that with us.

I was never a Pink Floyd fan. I was reminded of being invited to parties in 1973 and everyone sat on the floor to listen to Dark Side Of The Moon released in March of that year. Many of us then chose to leave for something a little more lively. I was a Glam/Cooper fan, Billion Dollar Babies was released the previous month. Just Floyd, well I can confirm they play note for note as far as my limited knowledge of Pink Floyd goes. They do it with an unadulterated, pure passion, and these guys, Just Floyd, swayed my opinion of Floyd music.

They are a class act. I think that, on this scale, it cannot be done better by anyone. If you are wavering on “should I go?” Please do, it will invigorate and inspire you.
Some may argue it’s completely illegitimate to see a tribute band, which seems sad to me. I have seen many such acts. These guys were not a “tribute” per say, no wigs etc., just a bunch of highly talented musicians playing Pink Floyd, and doing it rather well. I was thinking what if people stopped performing Bach or Beethoven just because those composers were gone?

These guys embodied the general spirit and original sound of the original band. No big lights or inflatables, just a band doing what they love. Maybe this felt like an early Pink Floyd concert. Or rather, what I assume one of those pre stadium, massive Pink Floyd concerts might have been like, since I’ve never been to one. Nevertheless, they’re as close as I’m going to get to seeing the real deal. And they did a great job.

The music on the set list tonight still most definitely deserves to be played. I strongly suspect that the musicians who take on these roles in tribute bands are not only enthusiasts for the band to which they pay homage, they are tonight well up to the task of performing the music as faithfully to the albums as possible, and The Factory Live crowd loved that!
The show started promptly… just as well because it was a long set with a 30-minute break, and lots to pack in!

We started with In The Flesh taking us into Another Brick In The Wall (part 1). Fabulous to hear and watch these musicians recreate the Floyd sound. Set one closed with Echoes. This was a first class recreation featuring that guitar riff.
Happiest Days led us straight back into Another Brick In The Wall (part 2). Sampled vocals and the large crowd joining in to create the wall of sound for this one, pure magic from Just Floyd.
To close set 1 we had the 25 minute epic, Echoes. In 1992, the former Pink Floyd songwriter Roger Waters asserted that Lloyd Webber had plagiarised “The Phantom of the Opera” from a sequence of the 1971 Pink Floyd song “Echoes”. He said: “It’s the same time signature – it’s 12/8 – and it’s the same structure and it’s the same notes and it’s the same everything. It probably is actionable. It really is! But I think that life’s too long to bother with suing Andrew Lloyd Webber.”

Just Floyd are universally regarded as one of the UK’s most authentic live Pink Floyd tributes, with an expertly crafted sound that’s reminiscent of the classic 70’s Golden Floyd era.
The sound and visuals were excellent, par for the course at The Factory Live. The sound guys, did a superb job. The mix was great. It was loud at times, but not overly loud.

Just Floyd: Set Two
Set two opened up with Shine On, parts 1 and 2, running for some 25 minutes. Again the musicianship was faultless. The crowd really appreciating the performance here.
This exceptional band are renowned for having a certain lightness and relaxed authenticity to their performance that is highly commended and feels closer to the original spirit of Pink Floyd’s live shows. The humour was there, those long sustained notes resulting in a look at the watch, or a check of a mobile phone. Hilarious to see and all adding to the brilliant atmosphere tonight.
This segment closed with Sorrow, a full 10 minute run for that one. The guys were not finished with us yet. Two classics were served up next with Wish You Were Here and Comfortably Numb.

The guys started up again, but no sound. Sadly a member of the audience was taken ill and the Factory Team thought it best to stop and ask everyone to leave whilst awaiting an ambulance. The Factory team were magnificent in the way the whole episode was handled, well done to the Factory Team.

I didn’t need my ear plugs which is always a joy! I found it the volume was spot on, and the clarity of sound was incredible. Every string, drumhead, cymbal, key and vocal was clearly defined. I left the gig and there was none of the usual ringing in the ears. Just wanted to note that and the lighting was timed with the music perfectly. Just a little heavy on the smoke machine at times as we lost sight of the drummer from time to time.

As The Factory Live emptied, I took the opportunity to speak to a couple of band members. I asked what song they were going to close with, Run Like Hell was the answer, and they promised to play it for us when they return. They were clearly happy with their work tonight, and they were both buzzing from the feedback from the large crowd in attendance, they promised to return!
Just Floyd are most definitely recommended if you like your Floyd or if you just want to see talented musicians play their hearts out, then GO!.
A Video! Shine On and Another Brick In The Wall – enjoy!
The band, Matt, Dan, Jules, Andy & Simon hope to see you at a show soon, and we hope to see you back soon!
