Nancy from Nancy and The Dolls – formerly Sex Pissed Dolls
Tonight, 4th July 8pm
Nancy and the Dolls (formerly Sex P….d Dolls) are a five piece high energy band formed in 2014 who have headlined many large festivals including The Isle Of Wight Festival and The British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Nancy Doll has run a few live stream events already but tonight she is holding another one. This is great fun as Nancy piles through the classics. Its loud and in your face – what else would you expect? She kicks things off around 9.30 04/07/2020 on her Facebook page. Be there! I need a shot of The Dolls and we should have all been meeting up this month – so will have to get my fix here.
Suspiciously Elvis

Tonight, 4th July 8pm
Love songs with Suspiciously Elvis! Elvis will be back in the building – “I’ll be singing Elvis’s greatest love songs for all those lovers staying away from the bars.
Please send me your ‘lurv’ requests and messages and we’ll have a night in by the fire. 💕” Always a thoroughly entertaining set and always a great selection of songs. Suspiciously Elvis will be loving you tender Saturday 4 July on his “Graceland” Facebook home page – here.
BACKYARD BABIES
Tonight, 4th July – check timings on their Facebook page
Backyard Babies – Peder Carlsson, Johan Blomquist, Dregen and Nicke Borg, born same year, same town, Nässjö, southern Sweden – are very much back in action. Formed in 1989, and with half a dozen studio albums to their name, the line-up of the band has never changed, and neither has the collective desire to claim a key and colourful chapter in the annals of rock ‘n’ roll. You can catch them in a live stream set via their Facebook page.
SLADY
This isnt a live event – but is available on You Tube. The world’s ONLY all-female tribute band to legendary 1970’s glam rock band, Slade. This is nearly two hours of music and chat with the band and also an interview with Slade Drummer – Don Powell. The guys pack lots of music, quizzes, chat into the second outing of Slady World. Enjoy this one.
Thanks to SLADY.
The Countess Of Fife was back!
The Countess of Fife is a project begun in late 2016 by Fay Fife, lead singer and creative force with legendary Scots pop/punk bands The Rezilllos /The Revillos; alongside guitarist Allan McDowell of post punk country outfit So You Think You’re A Cowboy. The Countess of Fife has a flexible line-up, collaborating with friends and like minded musicians. The Countess of Fife is aligned with the insurgent country movement and is inspired by country, punk, early R & B, gospel ,soul, girl group music and The Beach boys. As a stripped down version they might play as a duo.

Fay got the band together for this one, all done at a safe social distance. We had some top tunes, banter and great to see this brilliant band together. I so want to see these guys do their thing live. I just love the sound and energy created by these guys. Anyway up in Edinburgh we had sunshine and rain, well hey its Scotland! This not live, but was broadcast live and the Countess and Lord have allowed us to post this here as it might be the last one they do. It was enjoyed live and has been viewed over 6.5k times. The folk next door created a bit of an audience for this in the Cockabendy Tower exercise yard. This is a great way to spend 30 minutes.
Keep in touch with The Countess Of Fife, and check out if there is another broadcast and also they have a FAB new live CD – https://www.facebook.com/countessoffife/
One to watch out for
Marisa And The Moths – July 11 at 7pm
I have caught these guys a few times and had a blast every time, Marisa and The Moths are a pretty filthy, filthy pretty grunge influenced Reading-based rock band with a modern edge. Female fronted with soaring vocals and powerful melodies. The live streams are packed with top music and chat and some hilarious banter. They have taken a week out to welcome in the new guitarist and backing singer Holly Harvey. This is a live stream not to miss so pop it into your calendar. They have had some tech issues in the past, this is a top quality production, so check their Facebook page for details. You seriously will love what these guys do. I just wanna see them live armed with my camera and deliver a full gig report – just a small hint!
